Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has called on Islamic clerics to intensify efforts in the propagation of Islamic knowledge, guidance and prayers for peace, unity and progress of Bauchi State and Nigeria as a whole.

He made the call when he received in the audience, the Glgrand Khalifa of Tijjaniya, Sheik Khalifa Muhammad Mahi Inyas and his entourage at Bauchi Government House, today.

While commending the commitment, support and contributions of Islamic clerics to the development of Nigeria, Mohammed said his administration would continue to support them by providing them with the necessary assistance to discharge their responsibilities effectively and efficiently.

Mohammed reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensuring the lives of citizens are protected and improved, saying more dividends of democracy will be provided under his watch if reelected.
