The Big Brother Naija Season 9 has indeed come up with twists and suspense as 14 pairs of housemates were introduced on the launch night of the reality TV show.

After the last pair of housemates – Onyeka and Chizoba – made their entry into the House, the reality TV show anchor, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu addressed the housemates. There was a melodrama when he told them that a pair of housemates was to be evicted on the first day of the show.

On hearing about eviction, there was a defeaning silence in the House as the duos were dumbfounded, wondering which pair would be unlucky to leave the BBNaija 9 House just after only spending some minutes.

Ebuka later allayed their fears when he said ‘Na joke oh’, to the relief of the housemates, who instantly became excited.

The anchor, therefore, warned them, saying, “the viewers are very wise and you have got to be careful as if you don’t give them content, you will be shown the way out.”

He also addressed the viewers, promising to return next Sunday on the live reality TV show, which will last for 72 days.
