Benue Businessman Awards Scholarships To 200 Students

A Benue State-based businessman and philanthropist, Tertsea Naje, has awarded scholarships to over 200 students in tertiary and secondary institutions to encourage them to study harder.

He also assisted widows, supported farmers with fertiliser and other farm inputs to boost food security in the state.

Naje, who is the director of Natex Integrated Services Nigeria Limited, urged Benue youths to venture into business, noting that entrepreneurship remains the most sustainable path to wealth and community development.

Speaking with journalists in Makurdi, Naje said he started selling petroleum products with small container as a black market operator which have transformed the business into a corporate entity with over 10 fuel stations across Benue State and beyond.

He also advised the youths against social vices and tasked them to build legitimate businesses that will secure their future.

Naje appealed to the state government to create a more conducive business environment by providing soft loans and supportive policies that will enable the business community to thrive and contribute to the state’s economy.
