The managing director of BON Hotels International West Africa, Paul Umoh, has credited the company’s decade-long growth to a people-focused philosophy and unwavering commitment to service excellence.

Speaking during activities marking the group’s 10th anniversary, Umoh said BON Hotels began as a modest Nigerian start-up with a vision to redefine African hospitality by prioritising people—both guests and employees.

He noted that the company has since expanded into a recognised hospitality brand with multiple properties across Nigeria, Ghana and other parts of West Africa.

According to him, BON Hotels has hosted thousands of guests and delivered world-class events over the years, positioning itself as a preferred destination for travellers seeking comfort and quality service. He attributed the brand’s progress to a culture anchored on resilience, innovation and consistency in service delivery.

Umoh commended employees across the company’s operations in different states and countries, describing them as central to the brand’s success. He said their dedication, from management to frontline staff, has sustained the company’s performance in a highly competitive hospitality industry, with repeat patronage reflecting guest satisfaction.

He also acknowledged the support of corporate clients, travel partners, vendors and other stakeholders, noting that their continued trust has contributed significantly to the company’s regional expansion and long-term outlook.

Looking ahead, Umoh disclosed that BON Hotels plans to deepen investments in technology, sustainability, talent development and community empowerment. He said these priorities are aimed at strengthening the company’s operational capacity while ensuring sustainable growth and positive impact across host communities in West Africa.

Umoh added that the next phase of the company’s growth would focus on enhancing guest experiences and creating more opportunities within local economies. “Ten years ago, we dared to dream. Today, we dare to lead. BON Hotels remains committed to growing alongside its people, partners and guests,” he said.
