Breaking: Pandemonium As Bomb Explosions Rock Maiduguri Monday Market, UMTH Gate

Pandemonium enveloped Maiduguri, the capital city of Borno State Monday evening when bomb explosions rocked the Elkanemi area of the popular Maiduguri Monday market.

The second explosion reportedly occurred at the entrance checkpoint of the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital ( UMTH ) , while the third blast took place at the Post- Office area of the capital city.

Several of the wounded in the explosion have been taken to both State Specialist Hospital in Maiduguri, as well as to the UMTH , while the number of dead is yet to be ascertained.

It is yet not known whether the bombs were planted at the scene of the attacks or were carried out by suicide bombers.
