Yobe State governor Mai Mala Buni has promised to work with the state chapter of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Association of Nigeria to promote peaceful coexistence between Fulani and other Nigerians.

The governor made the promise through his deputy Idi Barde Gubana when he received members of the association led by its state chairman, Hon Umaru Buba Musa during a courtesy call at the Government House, Damaturu.

He said the Fulani constitute a large number of followers in every part of the country and commended the association for educating its members on the need for peaceful coexistence.

Gubana assured members of the association that the government will support them in their effort to sensitise, educate and enlighten the Fulani community on the forthcoming general election.
