Buni To Swear-In 17 LG Chairmen Dec 4

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni CON, will perform the Swearing-In/Oath-taking ceremony of the Chairmen and Members of the Management Committees of the 17 Local Government Areas across the state on December 4.

This was revealed in a press statement signed by the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Communication and Strategy, Yusuf Ali, which was made available to Leadership in Damaturu, Yobe State.

He said the significant event is scheduled to be held on Monday, December 4, 2024 at the Banquet Hall, Government House Damaturu.

According to the statement Governor Buni will Swear-in the Chairmen and Members of the Caretaker Management Committee of the 17 local governments following the extension of their tenure by the Yobe State House of Assembly for six months.

It may be recalled that the House extended the period of the chairmen and Members of the Management Committees for another six months following the expiration of their tenure in office.
