Matchday One featured three exciting games, setting the tone for what promises to be a fiercely competitive tournament.

The striker had made an exceptional drive and was through on goal before being brought down by a Karomajiji FC defender. Moments later, Freke Obobo doubled the lead with a spectacular long-range strike, putting AVM/APUGO firmly in control.

Despite a spirited effort, Karomajiji FC managed to pull one back a few minutes before the end of regulation time, but it proved to be too little, too late.

In the second game of the day, Capital City FC emerged victorious with a slim 1-0 win over Karamajiji FC. The decisive goal was scored by Buyor Tersee, whose composed finish secured all three points for Capital City FC.
