All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Solidarity Network has expressed unwavering support for the party’s national chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, amidst ongoing attempts to remove him.

Addressing newsmen yesterday in Abuja, the national coordinator, Prince Danesi Momoh, said he aimed to address the recent controversies and reaffirm loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Momoh said, “We are here to address the attempts by enemies of our party to distract the current administration and endanger our party’s future by calling for the removal of our national chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.”

He said their initial protests against Ganduje were misguided, influenced by internal detractors collaborating with the opposition.

The group said those pushing for Ganduje’s removal were not genuine APC members and were merely attempting to destabilize the party.

“We discovered that the individuals behind the suspension in Ganduje’s ward are not even members of the APC. They are charlatans paid to cause disaffection,” he said.

Momoh also condemned the lawsuit by Mohammed Saidu-Etsu, seeking to challenge Ganduje’s appointment, describing it as frivolous.

He questioned the motives behind such actions and warned of a broader scheme to weaken the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.

The APC group urged President Tinubu and all party stakeholders to counter these destabilizing efforts. “President Tinubu must ensure Ganduje remains in position to prevent history from repeating itself, as seen with the PDP in 2013/2014,” he said.

The group announced plans for a solidarity protest to reinforce their confidence in Ganduje’s leadership.

They called on the public to disregard any negative campaigns against the National Chairman, reaffirming their commitment to the party’s unity and progress.

Momoh concluded by apologizing for their previous stance against Ganduje, acknowledging their misguidance and pledging to support his leadership moving forward.
