Represented by his deputy, Engr. Aminu Usman, the Governor emphasised his administration’s readiness to invest everything required to create an enabling environment for every child to grow with ample opportunities to explore their potential in line with their destiny.

“We will continue to enact and reinforce laws to provide legal protection for children against any form of inhuman violence, ensure access to education, and incorporate extracurricular activities such as skills acquisition to broaden their opportunities.

“Under our 12-point agenda, we have expanded access to basic healthcare through free medical services for children under five, and pregnant women, social insurance, the renovation and upgrading of health facilities, provision of clean drinking water and sanitation, improved nutrition, and other key components necessary for effective child development,” the Governor said.
