Cleric Asks Parents To Monitor Children On Social Media

A renowned Islamic cleric in Bauchi, Dr Usman Giade, has appealed to parents and guardians to strictly monitor activities of their children on social media to reduce rising level of moral decadence in the society.

Dr Giade argued that if left unchecked, social media platforms have the potency to fuel social decay.
Speaking while delivering a religious talk in Bauchi, Dr. Giade cited verses from the Holy Qur’an and Hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), stressing the importance of parental guidance.
