The Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, has deferred its decision on the bail application filed by popular social media influencer and relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, widely known as Blessing CEO.

The presiding judge, Justice D.I. Dipeolu, reserved the ruling until Tuesday, June 9, 2026, following arguments presented by both the prosecution and defence counsels.

Blessing CEO is currently facing a two-count charge brought against her by the Lagos Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)—the charges border on obtaining money under false pretences and stealing to the tune of N36 million.

The social media personality was initially arraigned on May 15, 2026. The EFCC alleged that she obtained the sum from a petitioner under the false pretence of securing a lease for a property located in the Lekki area of Lagos State.

The court had previously adjourned the matter to June 5, 2026, to hear the bail application. With the arguments now concluded, the defendant will remain in custody pending the court’s final ruling on Tuesday.
