Court Restrains Yakubu From Kogi APC Gov’ship Primary

A High Court sitting in Lokoja, Kogi State has restrained the deputy national publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Muritala Yakubu Ajaka, from participating in the APC governorship primary election in the state on April 14, 2023.

In an order granted by Justice A.S Ibrahim, the applicants, Imaji Danladi and Amoka Suberu prayed the court to restrain the governorship aspirant Muritala Ajaka who is also the first defendant in the matter from participating in the April 14, 2023, APC primary election in the state.

LEADERSHIP recall that the deputy national publicity secretary of the ruling APC had been in the news as a result of his controversial suspension by executives of the party in Ajaka ward of Ofu local government area of Kogi state.
