Justice Na’abba, had in earlier ruling, granted an experte order for the suspension of Ganduje by some party leaders in his Ganduje Ward in Kano State.

Ganduje was prohibited from parading himself as national chairman after one Haladu Gwanjo and Laminu Sani Barguma who claim to be the chairman and secretary respectively of the APC in Ganduje Ward in Dawakin Tofa local government area of the state, secured an order suspending Ganduje as the chairman of the party.

But, in a twist of events Justice Na’Abba, vacated his earlier order, upon the hearing of a Motion Ex-Parte together with 27 paragraph affidavit in support, and a written address dated April 22, 2024, sworn to by Glory Adah a Litigation Secretary in the 4th respondent’s solicitors law firm.
The judge said, “And after hearing, Mr. L. O. Oyewo Esq, with A. Falana Esq and J. Essiet Esq counsels of the 4th Respondent/Applicant, an order of interim injunction is hereby granted.

“An order of interim injunction is hereby granted staying the execution of the order of interim injunction contained in the ruling of this court delivered on the 17th April, 2024 directing parties to maintain status quo ante as at the 15th day of April, 2024 in relation to the suspension of the 4th respondent/applicant from the 1st respondent by the Ganduje Ward Executives Committee pending the hearing and determination of the 4th respondent/applicant Motion on notice.

“The Judge then adjourned to 30th day of April, 2024 for hearing in the matter” part of the court order reads.

In a related development, the Kano Secretary of the APC, Alhaji Zakari Sarina, said the APC national chairman, Ganduje, was not disturbed by the activities of sponsored agents in his ward.
Sarina, who reacted to the fresh suspension of Ganduje by a new group that claimed to be the ward’s executives, dismissed the purported action, saying it is “null and void.”

He said “From available records, those behind the latest oddity are political jobbers who have offered themselves for pecuniary benefits at the behest of dignity.”
