CruiseHub Digital, a distribution, artiste and label service firm owned by Cruisehup Music Group has named James (JIN) Ifeanyi Andrew as the new managing partner and chief operating officer (COO) .
James, who will work alongside EVP & director for Creative Strategy; Adebayo ‘ASHIJOZ’ Sijibomi will oversee artiste and label liaison and relations, formulate business and personnel development holistically, while fostering strategic partnerships between the firm and African creatives to increase market share and artiste visibility.
Prior to his appointment, James served as the logistics manager of Cherdah Republic, overseeing numerous projects including Miss Bold and Beautiful Nigeria Pageantry, launched AfrobeatsViva committed to helping artistes develop solid brand identities and curating unique marketing strategies for artiste advancement.
He is a resolute talent scout and thespian, his background enables him to function across various creative and music roles, but not limited to styling, creative direction, stage management etc.
In the past year, he served as an A&R representative at Troniq Music, and he currently serves as the Head A&R at Xhrine.
Music, Lagos, executing projects and contributing immensely to the creative ecosystem.
His multidisciplinary background allows him to operate smoothly across creative and music-facing roles, including styling, creative direction, and stage management. Over the
years, he has contributed meaningfully to the creative ecosystem, serving as an A&R representative at Troniq Music and currently as Head of A&R at Xhrine Music in Lagos,Nigeria.
Speaking on his appointment at CruiseHub Digital James described the role as a
natural extension of his journey into the music business. “I started out simply wanting to help my artist friends find solutions to the challenges they faced as creatives. That
problem-solving instinct has brought me here,” he said.
“My goal has always been to
creatively cater to the needs of independent artists, offer label services while ensuring
they retain their independence, authenticity, and ownership. Ownership of our intellectual property is critical to the long-term growth and proper value extraction of the African entertainment ecosystem.”
