The Lagos chapter of the Christian Writer Association of Nigeria (CWAN) said it has concluded an arrangement to hold its annual anniversary celebration.
According to the association, the theme for this year’s programme is: “The Christian Writer As a Contributor to National Security and Sustainable Growth.”
The President and Founder of CWAN, Pastor Peter Morakinyo explained that this year’s anniversary, among other things, shall feature keynote addresses by lectures on how to generate multiple sources of income.
‘’The anniversary celebration provides great opportunities for upcoming writers to mingle and interact with established members of CWAN to learn hands-on, the basic arts and rudiments of book publishing, including getting familiar with the business aspects of creative writing, publishing and blogging.
‘’The programme offers strategic and new innovation in the business of writing and distribution of Christian books and literature,’’ he said.
According to the Chairperson of CWAN Lagos Chapter, Dr Kelicha Ochonorgor, dignitaries expected at this year’s anniversary celebration include Hon. Olusegun David Odunmbaku, Chairman Ojodu Local Government Area; Primate Charles Odugbesi JP, State Chairman, Southwest Agenda 2023; Bishop Babatunde Temitope Akinyele of Fountain Global News. The Chairman, BOT, of CWAN shall also grace the occasion.
