Davido Has The Influence Of A President, Says Manager Asa Asika

Talent manager Asa Asika has declared that Afrobeats singer Davido commands the social power and diplomatic presence of a sitting head of state.

In a viral interview reflecting on the global expansion of Nigerian music, Asika argued that “Davido is like Nigeria’s president,” citing the massive public reception, high-level security detail, and diplomatic access the singer receives in foreign capitals. He added that the artist’s international reach often opens political and cultural doors that standard diplomatic channels fail to reach.
