LEADERSHIP reports that President Tinubu had approved the appointment of chairpersons for the boards of 42 federal agencies, alongside a secretary to the board of the Civil Defence, Immigration, and Prisons Services.

The ruling party’s national chairman, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje had been appointed chairman of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) board with all members of the APC national working committee as chairmen of boards of other agencies.

The APC -USA urged all the appointees to deliver on their mandates in line with the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda to achieve its aims and objectives of moving Nigeria forward and ensuring that every Nigerian enjoys the dividend of democracy from the APC-led Administration.

The chairman, APC -USA, Prof. Tai Balofin in a statement specifically expressed delight on the inclusion of most leaders of the party on the appointment, noting that the President has proved the fourth columnist who were speculating that he had jilted those who worked for his victory wrong.

The APC -USA chapter called on party members and those who are yet to be appointed or not appointed to demonstrate some level of patience, emphasising the need for them to continue to work for the party and their fatherland positively without necessarily expecting to be rewarded by anybody.

“We believe in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ability to deliver on his mandate and promise to Nigerians without any fear or favour, as we  call on aggrieved members of the party to exercise restraints in their utterances even in the face of provocation of any kind and from anybody,” Balofin said.
