Delta Football League Finalists To Share N2m

The prize money for the forthcoming second edition of the Delta State Football League finals has gone up to N2m.

The four participating teams will now battle for N2 million instead of the initial N1.8 million.

Delta Football Association (DFA) chairman, Chief Ken Nwaomucha, who jacked up the prize, said matches would begin at the Kwale township stadium on Thursday, November 16.

He outlined the revised distribution, with the league champions securing N1 million, while the second, third, and fourth-place winners stand to earn N500,000, N300,000, and N200,000.

Emphasizing the commitment to widespread football development, Nwaomucha highlighted that the league finals would take place in Kwale Stadium.

He assured thorough preparations for a seamless event and urged participating teams to adhere to the game’s rules.
