A title holder in Delta State has been arrested by policemen at Umutu Police Station, Ukwuani local government area for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl (name withheld).

The chief from Ebedei Ukwuole purportedly raped the girl, a junior secondary school student (JSS1).

The alleged rapist, who is in his late 50s, was said to have been disturbing the victim and gave her N50 before luring her to an uncompleted building but failed in his first attempt.

Investigation revealed that the chief has four wives and several children. From the confession of victim, the chief allegedly slept with her twice and threatened to kill her if she discloses his illicit relationship with her.

A source said that the chief leaves close to the girl’s family house. “The time he raped her, he did it in an uncompleted building,” the source alleged. The third attempt was what exposed him after he allegedly forced her to take drugs unknown to her.

Our source hinted that it was when the victim was bleeding excessively that she opened up to her mother.
