The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi A Ladoja, has once again warned land grabbers to desist from illegal activities in Ibadan or face the full weight of the law.

The warning was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the monarch’s Chief Press Secretary, Chief Solomon Ayoade.

According to the monarch, the warning followed a land dispute settlement meeting held at the Olubadan Palace, Oke-Aremo, Ibadan, on Monday.

Expressing his displeasure, the monarch said, “I am not happy with the activities of land grabbers in Ibadan, ranging from threats, intimidation, and assault to the forceful seizure of land from rightful owners.”

Oba Ladoja called on traditional rulers across Ibadanland, as well as law enforcement agencies, to support efforts aimed at curbing the menace.
