Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Malam Shehu Dikko and other top dignitaries, including former sports minister and now special adviser on media and public communications to President Bola Tinubu, Hon Sunday Dare, have signed up to participate in the 10th anniversary of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, scheduled for February 15 in Lagos.
Also signed up for the anniversary are director-general of NSC, Bukola Olapade and immediate past president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and now FIFA executive committee member, Amaju Pinnick.
Others are Nigeria Olympic Committee vice president, Solomon Ogba, Paralympic Committee of Nigeria president Sunday Odebode and Athletics Federation of Nigeria president Tonobok Okowa.
Preparations are in top gear, with elite runners from across the world and Lagos fun runners are looking forward to participating in the 10th anniversary of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon which has solidified its place as one of the most prestigious marathons in the world.
