The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has said that it will see to the prosecution of Ohis Emmanuel, a.k.a Benjamjin, over alleged sexual molestation of a 13-year-old girl.
Ohis was the husband of a popular Lagos-based Disc Jockey, Kudirat Gbemisola, a.k.a DJ Kulet.
LEADERSHIP reports that DJ Kulet had a few days ago announced separation from her husband of eight months, citing alleged infidelity and sexual predatory tendencies against minors by Ohis.
Also, a viral video posted on social media on Monday shows the Disc Jockey in a heated argument with the mother of the 13-year-old victim identified as Mummy Favour and the accused sexual molester admitting to the act while begging for forgiveness.
In the video, DJ Kulet was narrating to Mummy Favour that Ohis had been sexually molesting her daughter and another underage girl for months while the 13-year-old also attested to what happened.
However, social users have identified the suspected culprit as a former manager of a popular lounge in the Surulere area of Lagos, while they frowned at the victim’s mother act, labelling her as an enabler as she was appealing to DJ Kulet to be lenient with her estranged husband.
However, reacting to the development, the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency has promised to take up the matter.
In a post shared on its verified X handle on Wednesday, the agency stated, “We appreciate everyone who brought the incident of child sexual abuse posted by @Olamide0fficial to our attention.
“As the Statutory Agency in Lagos State dedicated to preventing and responding to domestic and sexual violence, we take this very seriously.
“Violence in any form is unacceptable, and the Lagos State Government maintains a zero-tolerance stance against it.
“As of right now, we have reached out to DJ Kulet via Instagram DM but if anyone has more information, kindly get in touch with us immediately.
