The Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Most Rev. Henry Ndukuba, has said that God has remembered Nigeria and will restore the glory of the nation.
Ndukuba who made this known while delivering his Easter message yesterday said that God is on the side of Nigerians and will glorify His name in the lives of Nigerians.
According to him, God will bring back to life no matter whatever may have dried up in the lives of Nigerians as individuals and families, and challenges in the country economically.
“We are struggling physically and spiritually, and the Lord has remembered us and He will turn around our captivity. Because Jesus died and rose again, every dry bone shall be raised.
“Everything that is dying in this nation shall receive the touch of God. The way he will do it. I do not know, but he will do it. He may use his talents that we do not even expect and therefore we should expect God to intervene, and we will have a testimony.
“And because He loves us, He sent his son Jesus Christ to bear our sin, our burden, our affliction. He died the debt that would have been ours,” he said.
Ndukuba said that as Nigerians celebrate the resurrection of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, it gives Nigerians hope that the afflictions, sufferings, and challenges that they are passing through will not finish them.
“It will not be our end. Rather because Jesus died and rose again. We have hoped that the Lord would break every yoke and he will give life to us and our nation.
“And so, we want to encourage Nigeria as God spoke to Israel, in Ezekiel 37, He said to Ezekiel prophesy to the dry bones in the valley of dry bones. And as the word of God came, and the Spirit of God came upon those bones, God brought them back to life,” the primate said.
