An All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial Aspirant and senator representing Edo Central district, Monday Okpebholo, said his five-point agenda would turn around the fortune of the state, if he emerges governor of Edo State.
Chairman, Senate Committee on Public procurement had on Tuesday met with the APC state executive members to canvass support for his quest to win the party’s ticket to contest the September 21, 2024 governorship election in the state.

The governorship hopeful at a meeting with party leaders in Oredo local government area in Benin City, decried the state of infrastructure in the state and promised to tackle the state of insecurity head on.
He said, “I have to solicit your support to become the party’s candidate, your support for me is support for our children and children yet unborn.
I want to see the realization of the Edo of our dreams and make Edo a smart city. If we all come together as one we cannot lose any election.”

He called on the leadership of the party at the various local councils to support him ahead of the primary election, assuring that he will take the state to higher heights.

Okpebholo, who later met with party leaders in Egor local government area of the state, assured that he would be their servant leader and carried them along in decision making if elected as governor.
