An EFCC source who spoke to LEADERSHIP confirmed that the EFCC obtained a court order due to ongoing investigation and has gone ahead to mark the properties under investigation so that people will know and keep off.
The former attorney-general, who has been in detention over alleged money laundering, was recently granted bail alongside his wife and son.
Former vice-president Atiku Abubakar, had visited him at his residence and hours after Atiku left, Malami was seen in a viral video asking why his house is been marked.
In the video, Malami, who was still dressed in the same attire in which he received Atiku was heard saying, “Where’s the court order you have to mark my property? Are you trying to embarrass me or what?”
