A real estate firm, BoldBrick Smart Homes, has urged Nigerians to embrace the core values of Eid-el-Kabir, including unity, sacrifice, compassion and peaceful coexistence.

The company made the call yesterday in Abuja while distributing Sallah bonuses, welfare packages, rams and other gift items to its staff members, partners and affiliates as part of the activities marking the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

During the event, Julia Onoja, personal assistant to the managing director of the company, Suleiman Gimba, said the initiative was aimed at appreciating the commitment, loyalty, and contributions of workers and business associates who have played significant roles in the organisation’s growth and success.

According to her, Eid-el-Kabir symbolises sacrifice, love, unity, and compassion—values that should also be reflected in relationships within workplaces, communities, and society at large.

“This season reminds us of the importance of unity, sacrifice, and supporting one another. At BoldBrick, we believe our staff and partners are not just part of our business but part of our family,” she said on behalf of the Managing Director.

“We decided to distribute bonuses, rams, and welfare packages to appreciate their dedication and contributions to the company over the years. Their commitment remains the reason for the steady progress we continue to record as an organisation.”

She added that the company remains committed to building a supportive work environment that promotes productivity, loyalty, mutual respect, and teamwork among employees and stakeholders.

Onoja also called on Nigerians to use the Eid-el-Kabir celebration as an opportunity to promote peace, tolerance, understanding, and compassion, especially in light of the country’s current economic and social challenges.

“We understand the realities many families are dealing with today, and that is why every act of kindness and support matters. Beyond business, we must continue to encourage unity, love, and support for one another as Nigerians,” she stated.

“Staff members of the company received financial bonuses and welfare support packages to enable them to celebrate the Sallah festivities with their families, while partners and affiliates were presented with rams and other gift items as tokens of appreciation.”

A beneficiary, finance and admin manager, Mrs. Lilian Hosea, expressed gratitude to the management of the company, describing the gesture as timely and thoughtful amid the prevailing economic realities in the country.

She said the support would help ease the financial burden associated with the festive season.

“This gesture shows that the company truly values its workers and partners. In times like this, such support means a lot to many families,” she said.
