Former Presidential Adviser, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, has urged Nigerians to pray and work for the unity, peace and progress of the country.

Ita-Giwa, in a message to felicitate with Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, called on the citizens to use the occasion to pray for President Bola Tinubu to succeed in office for the good of the country.

The Bakassi leader from Cross River State said the growth and development of the country must be a joint effort by all despite the challenges.

“We should always for pray for the success of our leaders as they strive to tackle the various challenges facing the country. They count on our prayers and support and their success would translate to the overall benefit of all Nigerians.

“We should come together now that the elections are over and support the government to succeed. There should be unity and peaceful coexistence in the country.
