The statement further stated that the project which was awarded since, is expected to gulp N1.6 billion and fully funded by HYPPADEC through the Kebbi State Water Board.

It added that the managing director HYPPADEC, Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa noted that the project which has nine slots is expected to be completed in five months.

According to Yelwa, the contractors were selected through a competitive bidding by Kebbi State Water Board and the best emerged for the job and urged the contractors to respect the contract agreement as the commission will not condone shoddy jobs.
