The Emir of Gwandu and chairman of Kebbi State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, has enjoined people of the area to live peacefully with one another and also absolute loyalty to leaders in order to have unity and development in the state and the country.

In his Sallah message to the people of Kebbi State yesterday,  the monarch also advised parents to guard their children and wards towards better upbringing.

He also warned youths against drug abuse which he said could cause harm to their health.   The royal father also commended the people for conducting themselves peacefully during the recent presidential and National Assembly elections as well as in the March 18 and April 15 governorship and state assembly elections.

He also commended Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu,  INEC and the security agencies for ensuring  successful elections in the state.
