Kano State High Court 7 presided over by Justice Amina Adama has restrained counsels in the ongoing Kano Emirate tussle from granting media interviews after her ruling.

The Judge gave the order during the proceedings filed before the Court on the ongoing case instituted by the Kano State Attorney General, Kano House of Assembly, and the Speaker of the State’s House of Assembly through their counsel, Ibrahim Isah-Wangida Esq.

The applicants are seeking an order of restrain on the 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado-Bayero, and four others, from parading themselves as traditional rulers in the state.

“It’s my order for you (lawyers) not to grant any interview with the press even before and even after my ruling on the argument on the pending appeal on stay of proceedings filed by the first respondent,” Justice Adama ordered.
