The newly appointed High Commissioner of India to Nigeria, Ambassador Abhishek Singh has reiterated India’s commitment to further strengthen its strategic partnership with Nigeria and expressed confidence in the continued advancement of bilateral cooperation across diverse sectors.

Ambassador Singh made this known when he presented his Letter of Credence to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on December 4, 2025, stressing his resolve to continue fostering and strengthening the strategic partnership between India & Nigeria in the days to come.

President Tinubu, who graciously received Amb Singh, extended his congratulations and best wishes and urged him to boost the bond of friendship between the two countries.
