Former American President, Bill Clinton, has said he “saw nothing, and I did nothing wrong” in his testimony about sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.
Clinton made the statement during his deposition with the House Oversight Committee, a small and influential group of US lawmakers, which is administering and supervising the process.
The BBC reports that, hours into the deposition, both Democratic and Republican lawmakers said the ex-president has been cooperating with the questions and answering them transparently.
It reported that Clinton’s testimony brought up additional information about Trump, who was also in the Epstein Files was asked about President Donald Trump’s relationship with Epstein, which has renewed calls to bring the president in for questioning.
Images of the former President were published in Epstein’s files, and he has previously said he took trips on Epstein’s plane. He, however, denies any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes, stating that if he had known, he would have “turned him in myself”.
