A rising star in Nigeria’s real estate market, Experience Visual Creations (EVC), has marked its second anniversary.
Headquartered in Ilorin, Kwara State, the company has recorded significant growth, strengthening its position in the industry and gearing up for expansion beyond its initial base.
Chief Executive Officer, Fola Oyedeji, while speaking with journalists at the occasion Tuesday, highlighted the company’s mission to address housing deficits and democratise real estate ownership in emerging markets, a goal that has driven EVC’s growth and success over the past two years.
However, it’s not just the company’s projects and expansion plans that have made waves; EVC’s staff members also emphasise the brand’s positive impact on their professional growth and personal development.
Several team members provided insights into their experiences, offering a glimpse into EVC’s internal culture and future trajectory.
A sales executive, Mary Ajayi when asked about her experience at EVC, noted, “EVC offers the best products and their services are top-notch. There is this uniqueness that EVC has, and their customers’ satisfaction is their number one priority.
“The management emphasizes efficiency, productivity, and stability, focusing on planning, organizing, and controlling resources to achieve specific goals.”
On the staff-boss relationship, she rated it 8/10, accentuating the company’s communication and empowerment practices, “The boss listens, provides feedback, and allows the staff to make suggestions. He doesn’t just impose decisions on us.” Mary credits EVC with fostering her growth through training, mentorship, and networking opportunities, and she envisions EVC becoming a global brand within the next five years.
The company’s Customer Experience Team Lead, Rofiat Shiru expressed her admiration for EVC’s dynamic and innovative environment, saying, “It’s a great place to work with a strong commitment to excellence. The management team is supportive and encourages open communication between employees and management.”
Jannah Aliyu, Assistant Media head and community Manager noted that the company has significantly impacted her growth by providing ample learning opportunities and a collaborative atmosphere. Looking ahead, she believes EVC will continue to lead the industry, with its talented team driving the brand’s future success.
Another staff, a Property and Procurement Team Lead, Olumide Olubori also extolled the company’s relentless pursuit of innovation and its customer-centric approach.
He said, “EVC is a brand that doesn’t compromise on quality and consistently strives for perfection. They genuinely care about their customers’ needs and tailor their solutions accordingly.” Seyitan rated the staff-boss relationship at 10/10, pointing out the open communication, collaboration, and recognition of staff achievements.
Reflecting on her own growth, Seyitan of the Digital Unit shared, “The company’s culture of impromptu presentations and pep talks has helped me build confidence in my public speaking abilities. Our Friday book readings emphasize continuous learning, which has helped me stay curious and refine my craft.” She foresees EVC leading the real estate industry within the next five years, expanding its portfolio and reach through strategic partnerships.
