One of Nigeria’s most respected medical diagnostics providers, Everight Diagnostics, is celebrating 20 years of transformative impact in the nation’s healthcare landscape. Founded in 2005, the company has grown from a modest facility into a trailblazing force in laboratory medicine, championing innovation, accessibility, and precision across the country.

With ISO-certified laboratories, state-of-the-art equipment, and branches in multiple states, Everight has consistently raised the bar in diagnostic services, supporting clinicians with accurate and timely information while improving patient outcomes.

“This 20th anniversary is not just a celebration of longevity,” said Dr. Everest Okpara, CEO of Everight Diagnostics. “It is a tribute to the thousands of lives we’ve helped improve through early detection, precision diagnostics, and health education.”

From introducing automated laboratory technologies and digital imaging systems to integrating laboratory information platforms, Everight has been at the forefront of healthcare innovation in Nigeria. The firm was also one of the early private players to adopt molecular diagnostics and infectious disease screening, embracing global best practices in preventive and precision medicine.

In response to public health crises, Everight stepped up during the COVID-19 pandemic, delivering reliable testing services and helping shape Nigeria’s private sector response.

Everight’s impact goes beyond diagnostics. Through the Everight Healthcare Foundation, the organization has delivered thousands of free and subsidized tests to underserved communities under its “Diagnostics for All” initiative. It has also partnered with public health agencies to support national responses to diseases like HIV, malaria, hepatitis, and tuberculosis.

“Our work is deeply rooted in equity and access,” said Dr. Okpara. “Every Nigerian deserves quality healthcare diagnostics, regardless of income or geography.”

As it looks ahead, Everight plans to invest in artificial intelligence-driven diagnostics, mobile testing innovations, and data analytics for public health. The company is also setting up a Center for Diagnostic Excellence, envisioned as a national hub for training, research, and system development in medical diagnostics.

“Our mission has always been about empowering better health outcomes,” Dr. Okpara noted. “We are more inspired than ever to keep innovating and expanding access to quality diagnostics in Nigeria and beyond.”

Anniversary Celebrations and New Initiatives:

To commemorate its 20th anniversary, Everight is rolling out a nationwide campaign that will include:

* Free health screenings across selected communities
* Stakeholder appreciation events
* The launch of the Everight Medical Diagnostic Innovation Fellowship (EMDIF) to nurture the next generation of diagnostic leaders
