The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has issued an urgent warning regarding a misleading publication that is circulating on various social media and online platforms.

In a statement signed by Taiwo Hassan, on behalf of the chairman, the Commission addressed the false communication claiming to inform candidates that they have been shortlisted for FCSC job recruitments that closed on March 17, 2025.

“The information contained in this publication did not originate from our official channels and is entirely fictitious,” the Commission emphasised, urging the public to “disregard these misleading claims.”

Additionally, the Commission cautioned individuals to remain vigilant against fraudulent recruitment syndicates and scammers who may attempt to solicit payments for supposed job offers.

“It is crucial to note that the FCSC will never request money from shortlisted candidates.

“For clarity, once the Commission completes its shortlisting process, selected candidates will be duly informed and publicly announced via various media outlets and on the Commission’s official website at www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng,” Hassan stated.
