The federal government has approved the establishment of a tripartite committee tasked with streamlining visa processes and acquisition.

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, disclosed this on Tuesday to State House correspondents after a two-day federal executive council (FEC) meeting presided over by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa.

He explained that the approval was aimed at easing processes for foreign investors.

“Our visa processes are becoming cumbersome. The ease of doing business is also tied to our visa processes.
