The permanent secretary, Federal Ministry of Health and Social services, Daju Kachollom, has tasked health service administrators across the country to deliver quality service through dedication and selflessness to duty.
She gave the charge at a workshop and the council meeting of health service Administrators of Nigeria for its members in Abuja with the theme: “Hospital of the Future” organised by the Institute of health service Administrators of Nigeria (IHSAN)
The permanent secretary said government as part of efforts to improve quality of health service administration, planning and management in Nigeria founded the Institute of Health Sector
Administrators with the aim to regulate health service Administration and ensure that standards are maintained in the various health service institutions.
She said the workshop was a welcome development as it would chat a new path for the development of health administration in the country for development.
Kachollom said health administration remained a complex challenge that involves addressing various systemic issues that requires commitment and dedication from all practitioners.
