First Lady Remi Tinubu’s Name Will Be Written In Gold – VP Shettima

Vice President Kashim Shettima has extolled the virtues of the First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, describing her as a woman whose name will be written in gold in the history of Nigeria.

In a goodwill message to mark her 65th birthday anniversary, Shettima praised the First Lady for her compassion, resilience, and unwavering service to the nation.

He said Mrs. Tinubu had demonstrated brilliant motherhood and exemplary nation-building, noting that her life of service stood as a beacon to millions of Nigerians.

“Sixty-five might just be a figure, but to us it is a reflection of countless years of brilliant motherhood, exemplary service to nationhood, and the brilliance, compassion, and unwavering support that a First Lady can provide to her husband and an entire nation,” the Vice President said.

He stressed that beyond her role as the President’s wife, Mrs. Tinubu had distinguished herself through the Renewed Hope Initiative, which he said had touched millions of lives across the country.

He described her sense of unity and upliftment of humanity as legendary.

“When the history of this great nation and in particular President Tinubu’s administration is written, your name will be inscribed in gold, for you have earned it with your passion, good heart, service, sense of decorum, and the strength you have brought to bear on our nation’s development and progress,” Shettima added.

The Vice President further commended Mrs. Tinubu’s commitment to women’s empowerment, youth development, education, and support for the needy, saying her warmth and empathy had touched countless lives.

“As you celebrate this milestone birthday, we honour your quiet strength, resilience, and devotion to our great nation. Your partnership with President Bola Tinubu has been a beacon of hope for many. You are not just a First Lady but a symbol of womanhood, strength, and compassion,” Shettima said.

He prayed for her continued good health, peace, and fulfillment in the years ahead.
