The federal government through the office of the Head of Service of the Federation will soon launch an e-learning platform to fast track training of more civil servants for quality service delivery in the country.
Head of Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, made this known in Abuja at a public lecture in commemoration of the 2024 Civil Service Week with the theme: ‘Educate an African Fit for the 21st Century: Building Resilient Education Systems for Increased Access to Inclusive, Lifelong, Quality and Relevant Learning in Africa’.

She said this resource would ensure that the nation increases the number of civil servants who can undertake induction and the Structure the Mandatory Assessment-Based Programme (SMAT-P) module.
Yemi-Esan also said civil servants could also undertake other specialist training packages simultaneously.

“The objective of the e-learning platform is to train many more civil servants at the same time. We have modules that would ensure that civil servants are well trained,” she said.
She said that the Information and Computer Technology (ICT) initiative also contains modules that civil servants can train themselves to gain more knowledge on the new Performance Management System (PMS) while preparing for any promotion examination.
