Despite commendable performances from Idumagbo Beggi (17 points) and Toby Nweke (16 points), the Nigerian team fell short against their Portuguese counterparts at the Sportovní hala Vodova in Brno.

Tuesday’s loss followed an earlier heavy defeat of 42-113 against Canada on Sunday.

With one victory against China and two setbacks, Nigeria finished third in their Group B campaign.
