Firm Launches Empowerment Foundation In Ekiti

A subsidiary of Cavista Holdings, Agbeyewa Farms, has launched the Agbeyewa Farms Community Development Foundation (AFCDF) aimed at investing in community development initiatives to enhance the quality of life of citizens of Ekiti State.

The launch took place during a retreat for a select few monarchs in Ekiti on the traditional institution and private investment promotion in Ekiti State.

The guests at the event included the governor of Ekiti State, who was represented by the commissioner for chieftaincy and home affairs, Hon. Ojo Atibioke, the speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly,  Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, the commissioner for agriculture and food security, Ebenezer Boluwade, the commissioner for infrastructure and public utility, Prof Mobolaji Aluko and other notable attendees.

The foundation, with commitment to lifting communities focuses on five areas: Education, economic empowerment, health, sports and environmental sustainability. By addressing these vital sectors, the foundation aims to foster holistic development and sustainable progress within the region.

 

 

 

In his address, the executive director of Cavista Holdings, Dele Odufuye, emphasised the foundation’s alignment with Cavista’s mission to create enduring value for all stakeholders and transform lives and communities.

 

 

 

He highlighted the pivotal role of Agbeyewa Farms in funding the foundation’s initiatives and underscoring the company’s dedication to corporate social responsibility and community welfare.
