First lady Oluremi Tinubu has expressed her condolences on the passing of Hajiya Dada Yar’Adua, the matriarch of the prominent Yar’Adua family.

In a statement, Senator Tinubu highlighted the significant role Hajiya Dada played in shaping the lives of her children, who became influential figures in Nigerian politics and the military.

Hajiya Dada Yar’Adua was a mother to several notable Nigerians, including the late former President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, the late General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, and current Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua.

She said, “I commiserate with the Yar’Ardua family about the passing of their matriarch, Hajia Dada Yar’Ardua.

“She was a mother who played her role admirably, producing great sons, including the late former President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, late General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua and Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua.
