The National Forum of Former Legislators (NFFL) has extended warm felicitations to Alhaja Lateefat Olufunke Gbajabiamila, mother of the Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, as she marks her 96th birthday.
Femi Gbajabiamila was the former Speaker of the House of Representatives in the 9th Assembly.
In a statement signed by Hon. Raphael Igbokwe, National Coordinator of the NFFL on Tuesday, the forum hailed Alhaja Gbajabiamila as a “remarkable matriarch whose life has been defined by strength, discipline, resilience, and boundless love.”
“At 96 years old, Alhaja Lateefat Olufunke Gbajabiamila remains in good health and clear of mind,” the statement read.
“She is an enduring example of wisdom, grace, and unwavering commitment to family and community. Her life stands as a testament to the power of faith, hard work, and selfless service.”
The NFFL noted that through her nurturing spirit and dedication, Alhaja Gbajabiamila has “helped shape generations and inspired many,” describing her as “not only a pillar of her family but also a mentor and blueprint for what it means to live a life of purpose and honour.”
“On behalf of the National Forum of Former Legislators, we celebrate her extraordinary journey and pray that Almighty Allah continues to bless her with good health, joy, and many more years of happiness.” Igbokwe added.
