The Abdulhafiz Umar Gusau (A.U.G.) Foundation has deepened its humanitarian reach across Zamfara State, delivering targeted interventions in food relief, education, healthcare, and social welfare between January and October 2025.
At a food distribution event held Friday at the Palace of His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abdulkadir Ibrahim Bello, the Emir of Gusau, the Foundation provided bags of rice and financial assistance to 240 beneficiaries under its “Allah Ne Gatan Talaka” initiative.
Commending the Foundation’s consistency and compassion, the Emir described the effort as “a true reflection of service built on empathy and humanity,” and prayed for continued blessings upon the Founder, Malam Abdulhafiz Umar Barau (Dan Isan Gusau / Magayakin Tsafe).
Several beneficiaries expressed gratitude, saying the relief came “at a time of great need” and restored hope amid economic hardship. The exercise follows similar outreach conducted earlier at the Tsafe Emirate Palace.
Speaking on the Foundation’s mission, Malam Abdulhafiz Umar Barau reiterated that “true leadership is not about position but compassion, integrity, and impact,” adding that his organisation remains committed to “building a society where no one is left behind.”
The Foundation reaffirmed its determination to extend these interventions to all 14 Local Governments and Emirates, pledging to continue promoting compassion, dignity, and shared prosperity across the state.
