The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and Dufil Prima Foods Plc have commenced discussions to expand their road safety partnership to the national level following a courtesy visit by Dufil officials to the FRSC headquarters in Abuja.

The delegation, led by Dufil’s director of Special Projects, Rajesh Gaggar, and Group Corporate Communications and Events manager, Temitope Ashiwaju, met with the corps marshal, Shehu Mohammed, to explore wider collaboration on road safety awareness, responsible driving culture and public advocacy programmes.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed previous interventions and discussed additional areas of cooperation. Ashiwaju highlighted Dufil’s contributions, including the donation of 10,000 safety helmets to commercial motorcycle riders and the renovation of the FRSC Lagos office.

“For us at Dufil, road safety remains an important area of social impact. We are pleased to engage further with the FRSC leadership on how we can expand these efforts nationally,”Ashiwaju said.

Mohammed commended Dufil’s sustained support for road safety advocacy and stressed the role of private-sector partnerships in reducing road crashes and promoting a stronger safety culture across the country. Both organisations also discussed future collaboration on nationwide school advocacy campaigns, public enlightenment programmes and support for FRSC initiatives aimed at improving road safety in Nigeria.
