Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has re-sworn-in nine former commissioners who resigned their appointments in the wake of the governor’s face-off with his predecessor and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike.
The re-sworn-in commissioners include Prof Zacchaeus Adangor, Dr Jacobson Nbina, Dr Gift Worlu, Mrs Inimefien Aguma, Engr Chukwuemeka Woke, Prof Chinedu Mmom, Dr Dakorinama Kelly-George, Isaac Kamalu (Esq) and Mr Ben Chioma.
Recall that the former commissioners were screened and confirmed by the Rt Hon Martins Amaewhule-led Rivers State House of Assembly on January 17, 2024.
Speaking yesterday after the re-swearing-in ceremony at Government House, Port Harcourt, Fubara charged them to engage in activities for which they will be positively remembered by posterity.
