Investigation conducted yesterday by LEADERSHIP Friday  showed that of over the 50 stations in the state capital, only four were attending to customers who were mostly vehicle and motorcycle owners as well as farmers.

At Muhammadu Way in the Birnin Kebbi metropolis, Gajere Filling Station was selling the commodity at N730 per litre, so also at Sani Abacha Bye-pass Oando and Kayyas Stations sold a liter for N730.

All the other fuel stations visited by our correspondent had long queued of motorists and motorcyclists

Some motorists who spoke with our reporter expressed their dissatisfaction with the development, calling on the federal government to look into the remote causes of the shortage of the commodity.
