In a playful twist, the cast of Everybody Loves Jenifa emerged victorious in the game, prompting Funke to reveal the eagerly awaited release date. The film boasts an impressive cast, including Omowumi Dada, Nancy Isime, Falz, Stan Nze, and Jackie Appiah, ensuring an entertaining experience for audiences.

Everybody Loves Jenifa builds on the beloved Jenifa’s Diary, a television comedy series created by Akindele in 2015. This new installment continues the adventures of the naïve yet endearing character Jenifa, who first captured audiences’ hearts in the original film Jenifa in 2008, followed by its sequel, Return of Jenifa, in 2011.

Over the years, the franchise has expanded to include spin-offs like Aiyetoro Town (2019) and Jenifa on Lockdown (2021), further exploring the quirky and vibrant world of Jenifa. With each installment, the series has delighted fans and solidified its place in Nigerian pop culture.

Funke Akindele, with numerous awards and accolades to her name, has established herself as a leading figure in Nollywood. Her unique blend of humor and relatable storytelling has resonated with audiences, making Everybody Loves Jenifa one of the most anticipated films of the year. As the release date approaches, fans are eager to see what new adventures await Jenifa and her friends in this latest chapter of her journey.
