G-kross averred that the concert will feature many side attractions, including a guest artiste from Lagos.

He said he would embark on promotional tours after the concert, and shooting of professional videos for the project while aiming to break even in the bigger market in Calabar.

The music prodigy credited himself for transforming music in Cross River State when he served as the pioneer chairman, Cross River Artiste Forum (CRAF), shortly after obtaining his B.Sc in International Relations and Strategic Studies from Novena University, Delta State.

“It was a very tasking position which made me do more of administrative aspect of music at that time. By the grace of God, I was able to use my office to influence radio station management to give us radio airtime for our first radio programme for the association.

“Two radio stations granted our request and they are still running till date. I influenced the getting of the association’s website, brand page, monthly street and club shows, first award night/dinner etc”, he said.

G-kross who hails from Ifiang King Duke in Akpabuyo local government area of Cross River State, from a family of six, started recording and performing his songs professionally in 2004 when he was in SS2.

The artist is known for having  strong followership after his first hit single “Eyen Ekpo” in 2006/2007, which was on the lips of almost everyone on the streets.

Though he lost his father to the cold hands of death in 2020, he didn’t enjoy his father’s support initially until December 2019 when he convinced his father to be conferred a Grand Patron of Cross River Artiste Forum (CRAF).
